Description
1968-S WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 1968-S proof Kennedy half dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. The stars in the circle and the letters of USA (UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) and HALF DOLLAR show Class VI extra thickness. AMERICA and the R of DOLLAR also show a Class V clockwise (CW) spread pivoting near 9:00. Wexler notes no obverse markers. The reverse has a large FG. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
