The 1968-S Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-004 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1968 (S) Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: Obverse: Several die scratches run from WSW to ENE through the lower 19 in the date. Two die scratches run SE from the bottom of the U in TRUST.
