Description
1968-D WDDO-003 is a doubled die obverse on the 1968-D Kennedy half dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. Extra thickness shows on the date, IN GOD WE TRUST (IGWT), the designer's initials, LIBERTY and the hair under the R. On the obverse, an N/S scratch lies right of the mint mark. Wexler notes no reverse markers. Timothy J. Wissert submitted the variety, and CONECA lists it as 3-O-II.
