Description
1967 WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse on the 1967 Special Mint Set Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A Class VI spread to the center appears on the lower letters of ONE DIME and the upper letters of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. On the obverse, a short vertical gouge lies left of LIBERTY's L. On the reverse, a small gouge (dot) sits right of the top of STATES's second S. Whaden Curtis submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler's comments note that the coin examined has a proof-like surface and came from a 1967 Special Mint Set.
