Description
1966 WDDO-007 is a doubled die obverse on the 1966 Special Mint Set Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The second T in TRUST carries a close clockwise (CW) spread. On the obverse, a scratch lies near the rim beneath the lower right part of the bust, and another sits southeast of the date's second 6. On the reverse, a gouge is northeast of the designer's initials (FG), and several horizontal scratches lie between the lower right Memorial columns. Daniel Griffin submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references, and its comments note that it comes from a 1966 SMS set.
