Description
The 1965 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1965 Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: Obverse: A short die scratch runs north from the center of the nose. Reverse: A die gouge can be found inside the upper N in UNITED. A small die gouge can be found to the left of the upper T in UNITED. A small die gouge can be found SE of the 2nd A in AMERICA.
