Fifth in the doubled die reverse catalog for the 1962 Roosevelt Dime, this proof issue displays medium spread on UNITED STATES, E PLU of PLURIBUS, the left leaves and stems of the olive branch, and ONE DIME. The spread across both lettering and botanical design elements indicates a displacement that affected a broad zone of the reverse die. Cataloged by VarietyVista under die marker codes UVC-721 and DMR-009, the variety is tracked across three die states: Stage A with both reverse and obverse in early die state, Stage B with both sides at mid-die-state, and Stage C at late die state (unconfirmed).
