1962 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-005

Description

Class II + V, Distorted and Pivoted Hub DoublingThis variety was formerly listed as WDDO-075.  It replaces the original WDDO-005 listing which was delisted because it was too minor.  Close Class II and Class V doubling shows on IN GOD WE TRUST. Die Markers: Obverse: Die scratch on rim above date. Reverse: Small die dot above large center semicircular window; die scratches on rim to lower left of first S of STATES.
