1962-D Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-005

Description

Slight doubling shows below the horizontal bar of the L in LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge can be found between the O and D in GOD. A die scratch runs from NNW to SSE between the upper Y in LIBERTY and Lincoln’s shoulder. Reverse: A die scratch runs SE from the bottom right of the 1st U in PLURIBUS through the top right of the 2nd U in UNUM to the upper left of the M in UNUM. A die scratch runs SSW from the bottom right of the U in UNITED to the first Memorial column. A die scratch runs SW from the bottom right of the N in UNITED to the upper first column. Obverse:
