ErrorDescription
A spread towards the center shows on QUARTER DOLLAR, ERICA of AMERICA, the lower leaves, the ends of both branches, and slightly on the eagle’s tail feathers. Die Markers: Obverse: A short die gouge extends from the rim between the T and Y in LIBERTY. Reverse: A short vertical die gouge can be found inside the bottom of the second R in QUARTER. A small die gouge can be found between the tops of the I and T in UNITED. A nearly horizontal die scratch runs through the lower A and R in DOLLAR. Obverse:
