1959 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-002

Description

A strong spread towards the center along with extra thickness shows on LIBERTY, the hair on the back of the head, the queue, the ribbon, the designer’s initials, the date, and slightly on IN GOD WE TRUST. Die Markers: Obverse: A curling line that looks like a “struck through string” error can be found in the hair at the top of the head, but the curling line is raised indicating it was in the die. Reverse: A small die gouge (dot) can be found below the M of UNUM. Obverse:
