Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingClass II doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, both decreasing slightly from left to right. Doubling also shows on FIVE CENTS and M of MONTICELLO. Die Markers: Obverse: Small die dot at top of Jefferson's forehead. Reverse: Die scratch on frame of small left window; die scratch to upper left of small left window; die gouge below CA of AMERICA.
