1959 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-011

Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice Class II tripled spread, slightly increasing from left to right, shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and FIVE CENTS.  A closer doubled spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, MONTICELLO, and both sides of the building. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Die dot in field to right of M of UNUM; diagonal die scratch extending from right side of long right window; short slanted die gouge between lower portions of E and P of E PLURIBUS.
