Die markers are cataloged by VarietyVista as UVC-911 DMR-017 across three documented stages: Stage A in early die state (unconfirmed), Stage B featuring a die gouge off the second L of MONTICELLO at mid die state with the obverse also at mid die state, and Stage C with both reverse and obverse in late die state. The die gouge adjacent to the second L of MONTICELLO serves as the primary attribution marker for confirming the die identity independent of the doubling pattern.
