Description
The 1953 Doubled Die Obverse DDO-002 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1953 Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series.
