Description

Doubling shows as an extra eyelid south of the normal eyelid. Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs from Lincoln’s bowtie to the upper 5 in the date. Diagonal die scratches run below the letters TRU in TRUST. Parallel die scratches show to the right of Lincoln’s lower ear. A series of diagonal die scratches show behind Lincoln’s lower bust. A long diagonal die scratch runs SSW from the Y in LIBERTY. Reverse: Light concentric die scratches run through UNUM. Concentric die scratches run through the lower O in ONE. Horizontal die scratches run right of the E in ONE. A horizontal die scratch runs through the central C in CENT. A hash marked die scratch pattern shows behind the letter C in CENT. Concentric die scratches run through the letters TES in STATES. Horizontal die scratches run through AMERICA.
