1953-D Typical Die Clash TDC-50C-1953D-01

Description

TDC-50C-1953D-01 While not exactly “bugs bunny”, this 1953-D Franklin half does show a clash mark generated by the eagle’s wing found on the reverse die. The clash marks can be seen as two raised areas under Franklin’s nose. The Franklinlover site has this listed as die # 1. Though the reverse die is heavily abraded to remove the clash mark, a small portion still exists.
