Description
1952 WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 1952 Franklin half dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. IN GOD WE TRUST shows a close counterclockwise (CCW) spread pivoting near 12:00. On the obverse, a small gouge lies right of the upper part of the first T in TRUST. The reverse shows a late die state (LDS); Wexler notes nothing significant on it. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
