Description
The 1951 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-003 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1951 Proof Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-1794 DMR-010 Stage A: Strong die gouge on rim from K4- to K-7 – EDS Die scratches on the upper diagonal of the N of CENT Obverse is EDS Stage B: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed).
