1951-D Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

A strong CCW spread from a pivot at about 6:00 shows on LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs from the lower E to the lower R in LIBERTY. A die crack runs WSW/ENE across the upper forehead. A die crack runs E/W through the upper hair. Reverse: Two short parallel die scratches run ESE from the lower O in OF.
