Description
Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingNice Class II doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, with both spreads increasing from left to right. Doubling also shows on FIVE CENTS, LLO of MONTICELLO, and the right side of the building. Tripling shows on UNUM. Die Markers: Obverse: Die dot to right of Jeffersons eye; three die gouges on necktie below chin. Reverse: Slanted die gouge from rim between and above B and second U of PLURIBUS.
