Description
Extra thickness with some separation shows on USA, the dots, HALF DOLLAR, and EPU. A spread to the east shows on the eagle and the bell clapper. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge can be found to the right of the lower B in LIBERTY. A horizontal die scratch can be found below the E of LIBERTY. A long die scratch runs north to south to the left of the 1. Reverse: The mint mark is an RPM (D/D South) listed as 1950-D 50¢ WRPM-002. A diagonal die gouge can be found above the E in EPU. A die scratch runs SE from the M of UNUM. A die gouge can be found between the upper E and S of STATES. A die gouge can be found inside the lower 2nd S of STATES.
