Description

Reverse: Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1949 50¢ WDDO-001. A very close spread towards the center shows on LIBERTY and TRUST. Die scratches run SW/NE through the US in TRUST. Horizontal die scratches can be found above the E in WE. A die break can be found on the front of the bust below the one in the date. Reverse: A die crack runs SSW from the left bell support through the lower right of the E in WE to the R in PLURIBUS. A small die gouge can be found above the right side of the horizontal bar of the second L in DOLLAR. Obverse:
