The CONECA classification of II-C+VI indicates a combination of Class II and Class VI doubling characteristics, reflecting a complex hubbing event. Die markers on the obverse include die chips under the 5 and on the tip of Lincoln's nose, vertical scratches above the 1 and in front of the chin and nose, and horizontal scratches above and through the ear.
