The 1945-S Doubled Die Reverse DDR-007 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1945 (S) Jefferson Nickel - Wartime Silver Alloy, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: UVC-487 DMR-037 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Reverse is MDS Light die crack across upper hair – MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Reverse is LISTED as RPM-034.
