1945 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-003

Description

Class V, Pivoted Hub DoublingA nice CW spread shows on LIBERTY, the star and the date. Die Markers: Obverse: Short vertical die scratch to lower right of 5 of date. Reverse: P/P - possibly RPM#56.  Die gouge to right lower portion of fourth column; vertical die scratches N/S above and in right arch; curving die gouge to upper right of C of CENTS; die break on C of CENTS.
