Description
A Class I CW spread shows on LIBERTY, IGWT, the designer’s initials, the bottom of the ribbon, and the date. Master die doubling shows on the underside of the nose and on Washington’s lower ear. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs east across the upper forehead into the hair. A die crack runs E/W through the upper hair. A die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: None noted.
