Description

Strong extrathickness shows on USA, EPU, QUARTER DOLLAR, and the lower leaves and branches. The strongest extra thickness is on the lowerhalf of the reverse.Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die crack runs east through the hair just above the forehead and through the hair near the top of the head. Obverse Stage B: A die crack runs across the base of the bust and into the lower ribbon. Reverse Stage A: None significant. Reverse Stage B: A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing. A die crack runs from the S in PLURIBUS down the eagle’s left wing. Obverse: A strong die scratch runs WNW from the lower left 2 in the date. Reverse: A die scratch runs west from the upper right first S in STATES. A die scratch can be found between the upper T and E in STATES.
