Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingVery nice Class II doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, increasing from left to right.  Doubling also shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, and the right side of the building.  There is some tripling on CENTS and AMERICA. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Slanted die scratch to lower right of S of CENTS; series of slanted die scratches through first U of UNUM; slanted die scratch above second T of STATES.
