Description
A Class II spread towards the center shows on the date. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1940-D 10¢ WDDR-001. Doubling shows on STATES OF, the top of the axe, the top of the fasces, and the upper right leaves. The reverse is also an RPM listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1940-D 10¢ WRPM-005. It is a D/D North. A die scratch runs SSE from the right side of the center bands.
