Description
The 1940-D Doubled Die Reverse DDR-008 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1940 (D) Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series.
