Description
The 1938 Doubled Die Obverse DDO-013 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1938 Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series.
