Description

Extra thickness shows on the date and LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Series of short die scratches below the eyelid. Obverse Stage B: The die scratches below the eyelid have been abraded away. A die crack from the back of the bust loops over the V.D.B. curving back to the base of the bust and into the field. Reverse Stage A: Die scratch SW from the left side outer loop of the second S in STATES to the lower right horizontal bar of the E. Small die gouge (dot) above the second S in STATES. NE/SW die scratch through the center of the bottom horizontal bar of the E in STATES. Reverse Stage B: The Stage A die markers are gone. A N/S die crack runs through the center of the right wheat ear. Obverse Stage A:
