=1923-D VAM-1AL K-3 Rim Cud #5= Discovered by David Close. 1AL II 1 · B2a (K-3 Rim Cud #5) I-2 R-6 Obverse II 1– Die break above Y in LIBERTY extending thru top bar vee junction left up to rim and down below Y in jagged line to rim to form a retained rim cud. Breaks thru Y caused by high pressure of flat field on opposite reverse die. Comments:
