Description
A strong spread to the east shows on the olive branch and leaves, the rays running through the olive branch and leaves, the rays to the left of the lower back of the eagle, the leg feathers, and the inside of the eagle’s beak. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs along the base of the bust. Multiple die scratches run SW/NE through the RU in TRUST. A die crack runs from the top of the head to the Y in LIBERTY. A die crack runs WSW from the bottom of the R in LIBERTY to one of the spikes in the tiara. Reverse: None noted.
