#Top1923-D VAM-1AE Die Break Left of 1 #2 Discovered by David Close. 1AE II 1 · B2a (Die Break Left of 1 #2) I-2 R-6 Obverse II 1– Die crack from L down thru IN and over to top of 1 and Liberty head neck with crack at left of 1 down to rim where field is depressed from die break. Comments: Late Die State specimens of the VAM-1AE show a dramatic die break on the reverse, bisecting UNITE from the top of the E to the lower mid section of the U.
