1921-D VAM-1AM Small Break D of UNITED Reclassification find by Paul Pierce, Dec 2003 ( Formerly JOH-10 Discovered by Rob Joyce, December 2001) 1AM (revised) IV 1 · D2a (Die Break Top Left of D) (189) Reverse D2a– Die cracks thru tops of ED and STATES with small die break at top left of D in UNITED. Further left than VAM 1N. Double die crack at top right of A in STATES with displaced field. Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg, between eagle's left wing and body and in middle of both eagle's wings. Die marker - Single horizontal polishing line on right tail feather below olive branch and die scratch between OL in DOLLAR.
