Cross-referenced as Fivaz-Stanton FS-101, this VarietyVista-documented 1918-D Buffalo Nickel carries the primary doubled die obverse designation, where hub misalignment created visible doubling on James Earle Fraser's Native American portrait. Die markers UVC-039 / DMR-002: Stage A at EDS (unconfirmed); Stage B at MDS (unconfirmed); Stage C at LDS (unconfirmed). Current photos courtesy of Bill Fivaz.
