Description

Discovery April 2024, John Robert/Alan Scott 15 III2 10 ∙ C4d (Slightly Doubled Cap Top, High S) (?) Obverse III2 10 - Minor doubling along upper edge of Phrygian cap. Date set within normal range. Die marker – several short fine lines from front edge of eye. Reverse C4d - Large Type V S mintmark set high and upright. Upper serif in line with right edge of bow knot. Die markers- many fine lines in and around bow loop. Single line in left wing parallel to body at junction with upper leg. DPIS- RH3/LE5 Comments: # Found with minor die rotation of 5 degrees CCW
