Discovered by Martin Field, July 1982. 15 III2 ? · C3? (Extra Arrow Feather Gouge, Circle Scratch Wheat Leaves) (189) Obverse III2 ? Semi-circle die scratch/impression at lower right of wheat leaves. Reverse C3?– Heavy die gouge just above top arrow feather. Wide V S mint mark set slightly to right. Comments: # This has been observed with a fairly strong gouge above the topmost arrow feather. # This is the former 1900-S VAM-2A.
