Error
Description
Class II doubling spread towards the center shows on USA, QUARTER DOLLAR, stars, and outer leaves. Doubling is strongest on UNITED.Die Markers: Obverse: Flag of the 1 is slightly repunched to the south. Die crack from the 2, through the front tip of the bust, and through the two lower right stars. Die crack through the upper right five stars. Die crack through the third through fifth left stars (from the bottom). Reverse: Die chip in the upper opening of the last S in STATES. Die cracks through the tops of UNITED, the ATE of STATES, and the MERIC of AMERICA.Submitted By: John A. WexlerCross References: None known
