Liberty's ear slightly doubled at left and right inside from die wear. ''Die Marker'' - Vertical polishing lines at left end of cap ribbon. Reverse C3h - DPIS - C3/LE5 ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: 20, additional die pair, 1D Comments: # There is an additional die pair currently without a die pair (VAM # designation?) that falls between VAM 20 and VAM 1D. January 2026 update: Unsure if this comment is related to the post describing a novel obverse pairing with the VAM-1D and VAM-20 reverse - but keep a watch out for that combination as it has YET to be submitted as a discovery coin! # 1891-S VAM-1C1, 1891-S VAM-1C2, & 1891-S VAM-Yet to be "Discovered" were all made with the exact same obverse die.
