III2 7 • C3a (High 9, Doubled Ear, Second Clashed Obverse n, Collar Clash Obverse) (190) Obverse III2 7 – Later second faint clashed N die states show reeding indents at 9 o'clock from collar clash on some specimens. Second faint clashed n at Liberty head away from neck left edge and set further to left than first clashed N. Reverse C3a - Two vertical die clash lines at In-G polished leaving single weak clashed line. Same die polishing lines at wing-neck gap also made weaker by die polishing. Comments: There are five die sequences for 1889-P VAM-7B2. Scroll down to "Additional Photos" to view each die sequence. By far, die sequence #5 is the most common. The collar clash (die sequence #1) occurred before the clash N (die sequence #2).
