=1881-S VAM-21 Doubled 88, S Tilted Right= Discovered by Oscar Simpson, March 1977. 21 III2 8 • C3k (Doubled 88, S Tilted Right) (183) Obverse III2 8 - First 8 doubled on top surface inside and bottom outside of lower loop and left inside and right outside of top loop. Second 8 has bulge at top left outside of lower loop. Reverse C3k- Medium mint mark centered and tilted right with loops partially filled. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: 1881-S VAM-23, 1881-S VAM-21 Comments: # This exact reverse die was used to produce 1881-S VAM-23 and 1881-S VAM-21.
