1881-S VAM-16 (NO) Die Chip in Leaves Discovered by Brent Fogelberg, May, 2024. (Old VAM-16 is now 16A) 16 III2 8 - C3a ((NO) Die Chip in Leaves) Obverse III2 8 - First 8 doubled on top surface inside and bottom outside of lower loop and left inside and right outside of top loop. Second 8 has bulge at top left outside of lower loop.
