=1881-P VAM-1A Die Chips in 8= Discovered by Del Ford, September 1975. 1A III2 1 - C3a (Die Chips in 8) (180) Obverse III2 1 - Short die chip at top left inside of upper loop of first 8. In some specimens, second 8 has die chips in middle of both loops. Some specimens show die chip at top inside of both loops. Reverse C3a - Normal dies ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The 1881-P VAM-1A and the 1881-P VAM-10 were both produced with the exact same reverse die.
