=1880-P VAM-27 Doubled 1-80= Discovered by Oscar Simpson, March 1977. Revised 2011. 27 (revised) III2 27 ∙ C3a (Doubled 1-80) Obverse III2 27 – Doubled 1-80 in date with 1 doubled slightly above lower crossbar on left side and at very left bottom. Right 8 at top inside of both loops and at bottom left outside of both loops and 0 slightly at bottom outside, left inside and left and right top outside. Reverse C3a – Normal die ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # While there is a tiny ear on the top right of the second 8, LVA says it is 'not significant.
