Description
1880-P VAM-17 Doubled 18-0 Discovered by Maurice Dubreuil, January 1975. Revised by Scott Hamilton August 2011. 17 (revised) III2 17 ∙ C3a (Doubled 18-0) (180) Obverse III2 17 – Doubled 1-80 with 1 doubled slightly at bottom, left 8 doubled very strongly at bottom outside and top inside of both loops and bottom right outside of upper loop and 0 slightly on left inside. Die marker - Several diagonal die scratches below Phrygian cap bottom. Reverse C3a – Over polished middle of both wings.
