Description
1880-O VAM-32 Discovered by Jay Galst, February 1980. Revised 2016 32 (revised) III2 23 - C3a (Doubled Date, Dot Eye) (176) Obverse III2 23- Doubled date with 1 & left 8 slightly at bottom outside, right 8 at top left outside & 0 at lower left inside. Small diagonal die scratch in front of hair curl at ear. Die marker - Horizontal thin thread-like die impression in hair below cap at middle. Reverse C3a - Over polished lower portion of eagle's right wing. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: This is the same as the former 1880-O VAM-1D.
