=1879-P VAM-14A Doubled 879, Double top= Discovered by Mark Kimpton, August 2004. Revised 2019 bjsliverfox. 14A III2 14 · C3k ( Doubled 879, 187 in Denticles Die 2, Clashed Obv n Die 1 & 2, Clashed st Die 2, Double top) ( 179 ) Obverse III2 14 – Clashed die with partial incuse N of In from reverse next to Liberty head neck Die 1 & Die 2. Die 2 also has clashed st of Trust from reverse showing in right hair vee of lower hair edge. Reverse C3k – Slightly doubled TATES OF AMERICA at bottom inside of letters towards rim, tops of In God We Trust and right wreath leaves on outside. Fine die scratches in middle of eagle's right wing. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The 1879-P VAM-14 family is; VAM-14.1, 14.1A (LDS of 14.1), 14.2 and 14.2A(LDS of 14.2).
